In this video, I show you step by step how to fix runny jam. This method is so simple and relatively quick. If you have runny jam, you can keep it runny and use it for ice cream or syrup for waffles. If you don't want to keep runny jam, I show you the easiest method to fix it and I show you how to reprocess the jam in a water bath canner.
For every 4 cups of runny jam or jelly, you need 1/4 sugar and 1 tbsp of pectin. Keep in mind, a pint jar is 2 cups. You can't process more than 8 cups per batch or 4 pint jars. If you have more than that, you will need to do more than one batch.
