BJP MLA Vijay Sinha was elected as the speaker of the Bihar Assembly today but there was major ruckus in the assembly leading up to this election. RJD alleged that the voiceboard for the post of the speaker was being done fraudulently and alleged that there are MLCs who are present in the House were participating in the vote. The RJD MLAs showed the rulebook to the Protem Speaker Jitan Ram Maanjhi against the fraudulent voting for the post of Speaker.
Maanjhi said that those from other Houses are not participating in the Speaker's election and that the presence of Members is not a problem.
