Alan(Buster)Barrett Cairns Brothers centre bags himself 3 tries against Kangaroos in the CDRL Round 1 clash for the 1990 Season at Stan Williams Park. Alan had speed to burn and footwork to go with and playing outside centre partner classy Greg Eastment it wasn't long into the game that Greg gets a ball away to Buster and he swerves his way to plant the ball under the crossbar. Buster was always dangerous in broken play and his second try he somehow chips ahead then regathers to dive over in the corner.Everyone game side that Sunday saw Busters final try come up after five-eight Dave Brown switch play back to the blind picking up half Dan Dever. Dan passes to Buster and he gives a lesson on the in&out as he easily blows away Kangaroos winger and does the same on the lock covering to run around and score.
