Written Recipe:
Doi Rui-Doi Diye Rui Machh (Rohu Fish with Yugurt):
Ingredients:
03 pcs rui machh(rohu fish)
01 cup mustard oil
01 no bay leaves
01 ‘’ cinnamon
02 no’s cardamoms
02 no’s cloves
01 small onion paste
01 tbs ginger garlic paste
01 tsp turmeric
1 ½ tsp chilli powder
01 tsp coriander powder
02 no’s green chilli cut in halves
½ tsp garam masala powder
100 grams yoghurt
Salt to taste
Method:
First marinate the fish with salt, turmeric and chilli powder, fry in mustard oil and keep a side, on same pan add whole garam masala, onion paste sauté well then add ginger garlic paste fry it nicely and add turmeric, chilli, coriander powder and salt. cook the masala very well until oil comes out on top then add yoghurt, garam masala powder and fish.
Cover with lid like 01 minute after that turn the fish fillet and again cover the lid like 01 to 02 minutes. check the gravy, if oil comes on top mean its ready ,taste the salt and serve it and enjoy with rice.
