The ACT government says it's still working through safety issues at the Dhulwa Mental Health, two weeks after being issued prohibition and improvement notices by WorkSafe ACT.
The work safety regulator intervened last month, after a series of violent incidents at the secure site in Symonston.
Today the ACT government announced an inquiry would be held into the running of Dhulwa, after nurses reported more than 100 assaults over a six-month period.
