Sumo is a competitive full-contact wrestling sport/martial art originated in Japan. Outside of Japan sumo is rarely considered a legit form of grappling, but those who follow it know that this is far from truth. Sumo is actually very effective and requires immense physical and technical skills. Elite Sumo wrestlers are world class athletes.
