Producing about 8 Joules at the muzzle with fresh Co2, pellet pistol model SMK / SPA CP1M .22 (based on the 2240 made by Crosman) will go through a lemon and also through the thin wooden board behind it (after shooting about 40 shots with more than half empty Co2 cartridge in it).
It seems that the co2 mechanism of these co2 pistols is pretty effecient and effective
