The Popular Front of India and eight other entities connected to PFI have been banned, according to the Indian government. Following many raids in various Indian states, the Indian government outlawed these organisations for five years. State Anti-Terror Squads and the National Investigation Agency together detained around 160 PFI leaders and members. The government's announcement is effective right away. Following operations in Shaheen Bagh, Rohini district, and Nizamuddin, thirty persons were taken into custody in Delhi.
