K.Avett (pronounced kay uh vet) is a singer/songwriter/artist, who performs her own original music, as well as popular covers from all genres, complete with a uniquely soulful sound. When not on stage, K.Avett is a practicing Registered Nurse. Perfect for a variety of events, she sets the tone and keeps it melodic and more relaxing for a mellow atmosphere, but can just as easily engage the audience with fun sing-along sessions during live shows. She has been a featured artist, gracing the stage at the Capital Jazz Festival (DMV), and sharing her music on the Capital Jazz Cruise. As well, she has opened for Corrine Bailey Rae, Glenn Lewis, After7, B.Slade, and others. Her musical performances would be a great consideration for any events/festivals worldwide where live music is embraced and enjoyed.
