I haven’t played around with my 3Dio FS XLR mic enough. This is a binaural mic that records two channels to simulate how a human hears. In post, you edit each of the two tracks to pan left and right. When wearing headphones, it’ll sound really trippy!
Binaural mics are mostly known by the ASMR world, but has many different uses. In this case, I tried a few ASMR techniques, but also had a conversation with the mic to simulate what a video produced with this mic would sound like.
Let me know if you want to see what a fully rigged out camera setup would look like.
