STORYLINE:
High school robotics teams from around the world gathered at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Friday to put their engineering skills to the test.
Student competitors built robots to compete in various "sporting" events.
More then 1,000 high school teams from the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Great Britain, and Israel participated in the event.
The competition was broadcast on NASA TV.
