Transition Bike Company released two new mountain bikes this week! They updated their Patrol with 160mm rear travel which is now mixed-wheel-size only, alloy frame only, and ready for a dual-crown fork. Then they launched the brand-new Spire 29er mountain bike. The Spire has 170mm of travel front and rear, comes in carbon or alloy frames and has adjustable geometry with a flip chip.
Vital was lucky enough to get some very brief rides on both of these bikes to see how they perform on the trail. We also talk with Lars Sternberg of Transition to get answers to our questions.
