This short video is of a programmable particle library where the user can define the behaviors at runtime, rather than compile time.. Particles Objects use a sort of particle script a bit like assembly. The library loads the raw source, compiles it to it 's custom VM. The program can then create emitters of this class, spawn particles etc etc. You can see the actual code at the start of the video.. This allows the library to be more flexible than just building in a set of pre-defined behaviors (which we'll prolly add anyway).
