In search of more of the Scotland you may not know, we head for the West coast to explore what they call the most beautiful shortcut in the world. The Crinan Canal cuts through the majestic landscape of the Kintyre Peninsula. Once a bustling trade route it's now one of the most awesome cycling and walking routes we've ever seen.
The canal starts near Lochgilphead and its 8 mile length passes scenery that is the match for anywhere else in Scotland before reaching the picture postcard perfect village of Crinan at the West end.
As well as being the prettiest place we've been in a while, Crinan is also the home of Scotland's newest parkrun, so while we were there we gave that a go...
Be rude not to.
A huge thank you to everyone who's supported our wee channel so far, if you'd like to help support our wee adventures you can do it through through our Ko-Fi or Patreon.
All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.
