WHY NOW?
Pro-education leaders in the Minnesota House, Senate, and Governor’s Office are ready to make meaningful change this year. And with a record budget surplus, they have the money to do it.
Education Minnesota is calling on legislators to fully fund our public schools. Full funding would mean:
• Reduced class sizes
• More mental and physical health support
• Better teacher wages and reformed pension
• Reduced paperwork for special education
• A livable wage for education support professionals (ESPs)
