Whitby Goth Weekend, abbreviated to WGW is attended by Goths, Steampunks, Victorian vampires, Rockers, Punks and other subgenre.
The weekends were originally set up as a music event for Goths with music genres varying from death metal, punk and industrial.
More recently it is catering for a wider range of alternative lifestyles and some fantastic outfits can be seen in the town over the weekend.
