The first way is to reach out to people you already know. Your friends, family, and acquaintances are all potential leads, so don't be afraid to let them know that you're in the business of helping people buy and sell homes.
The second way is to be more proactive during your open houses. There will be people who are just looking around, and you must provide value for them, but you will also find people who are not represented by an agent which will open up an opportunity for you to be of help to them.
The third way is to go door-knocking in the neighborhood when you have an open house. This is a great way to meet people. You can make it into an event with a BBQ to meet the neighbors and not seem like a solicitor. This is a long game, but it is worth it if you’re consistent.
And finally, the fourth way to generate leads is to reach out to absentee owners in your area. By doing your research you can provide value for them by educating them on how much return they can get on their equity.
