These commercials aired during Saturday Night Football: New England Patriots vs. New York Giants on WGRZ out of Buffalo, NY. The game was originally set to be broadcast exclusively on NFL Network, but the NFL agreed to simulcast it on CBS and NBC due to the potentially historic nature of the game. The SD feed of WGRZ didn't reformat the 16:9 commercials from the NFL Network broadcast, so those commercials aired 4:3 with the sides cropped, and a number of commercials either began or ended abruptly.
