Tropical Storm Bret continues to lose strength and organization in the Caribbean Sea due to dry air and wind shear. The storm will continue to weaken and dissipate in the Caribbean Sea through Sunday. Only remnant moisture in the form of an open trough of low pressure will move into Central America early next week, which will not cause any big concerns!
Tropical Storm Cindy, which is almost 700 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, is continuing its trek to the west-northwest as it rides along the periphery of the Bermuda High. Cindy will eventually make a turn toward the northwest, avoiding the Caribbean Islands and moving away from the United States (US). Dry air and wind shear will help in Cindy's demise early this week, and the storm looks to dissipate east of the Bahamas by midweek.
