A rising senior captain of the Hancock High School cheer squad, Emily Goss was killed in a tragic car accident over the summer of 2019. She was also an integral part of the football program, where her loss was felt immensely on Friday nights. The Hawks were quick to pay tribute to their fallen sister with a 'Teal Out Night' in her honor, where they outscored the visiting Gautier Gators 28-0 in the second half to complete an emotional 28-14 comeback victory.
