Day 33 is here and we are 22km away from the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela. Santiago is a form of St James in Spanish and compostela means field of stars. We're almost there. First we have to walk around more hordes of young school groups then into the plaza we go! We spent the morning walking with our Dutch friend, Wilhemien.
We knew we had to spend two nights there because there is a lot to do for a pilgrim. Attend mass, tour the museum, and eat and talk with all the fellow pilgrims coming and going that we met over a month ago. We even got lucky at mass!
The adventure isn't over yet though! We still have to walk to Fisterra then to Muxía, over 100km altogether to go.
