A hare desperately tries to escape from greyhounds during a coursing meeting in Ballinagar, County Offaly at the weekend. The hare was chased up and down the field and around in circles. Its fate is unknown.
Also witnessed at this shameful event was a hare being severely mauled and another terrorised and hit by the dogs:
