Israeli authorities cancelled travel permits granted to Gaza's Christians planning to visit holy sites in Jerusalem and the West Bank for the upcoming Orthodox Easter celebrations.

The Saint Porphyrios Orthodox Church in Gaza posted an announcement on its Facebook page telling the Christian community Israel had revoked the permits, after receiving the information via the Palestinian Ministry of Civil Affairs. No reason has been given for Israel's decision.
