The 605 All-Star Band, made up of students from high schools in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, ABC Unified School District and Bellflower Unified School District, will take part in the 2025 Rose Parade. Here they are marching down Main Street, U.S.A., in Town Square at the Disneyland Resort on Friday, December 27, 2024.
This unique collaboration brings together schools along the 605 Freeway, including Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Gahr, John Glenn, La Mirada, Mayfair, and Norwalk. With 528 members, the band will be one of the largest ever to march in the Rose Parade. The idea for this ensemble was created by Tom Philips, the band director at Mayfair High School, who is set to retire in 2025.
