Pakistan finds itself at the bottom of the list of the world's most powerful passports for the third quarter of 2023. Singapore has surpassed Japan to claim the top position on the Henley & Partners' list of the most powerful passports for the July to September period. This is the first time in five years that Japan has been deprived of the number one position on the Henley & Partners' list. According to the index, Singapore passport holders enjoy visa-free travel to 193 countries. Germany, Italy, and Spain jointly hold the second position, with their passport holders having visa-free access to 190 countries. Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Luxembourg, France, Finland, and Austria rank third, with their passport holders enjoying visa-free entry to 189 countries. Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands secure the fourth position, allowing their passport holders to travel to 188 countries without a visa. Belgium, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Malta, and New Zealand jointly rank fifth, granting their citizens visa-free access to 187 countries. Pakistan is placed at the bottom of the list as the fourth weakest passport holder. The Pakistani passport is ranked 100th on the list, with visa-free access to 33 countries. Syria (101), Iraq (102), and Afghanistan (103) are ranked below Pakistan. This ranking is based on official data from the International Air Transport Association.
