It's been 4 months and I've put the Trust Message fork through their paces and found both good and bad points that I'm wanting to share.

I sent a link to this video to Trust for any response to my issues and they replied with:.

"1. Loss of pressure. (The valve caps contain a rubber seal and are the primary seal /essential in keeping pressure stable. That’s one of the reasons they have the 4mm Allen key hole on them, to ensure they are installed to the proper tightness. Without them, pressure loss will likely occur) We also don’t recommend using a rock to let pressure out. This has the potential to let contaminants into the assembly and cause additional problems.

2. We always recommend keeping the pressure the same in both air springs.

3. Hose guides- we’ve found that using a 4mm allen key tap the bottom and push upward. (something blunt enough to not puncture the hose) They should pop out without issue.

4. The axel- The head of the axel is designed to pop off or break away to keep users from over tightening the axel. We DO NOT recommend gluing or altering that axel in any way. The user manual is very specific as to how tight you should get the axel (17 NM)

5. Regarding the price- We stand behind the cost of our product. In our experience, the performance and maintenance benefits our Message provides are worth the additional expense. By way of comparison; the average carbon wheel set is more than $2,000. We’re confident Message riders will gain advantages that specifically provide traction, stability and control that other components in the same price range can’t."

So as I suspected there has been some user error, I certainly haven't heard of any air loss issues from other testers. It's also clarified the unscrewing axle cap...I did not use a torque wrench as recommended (didn't have one).

Hopefully that clears things up a little.
