Russian brilliance. The sheer size, slow flight capabilities and power this Antonov AN2 has is unbelievable.
We were taken to the skies by Larry & Jason Beamish and they sure did fly extremely well. The executive seating in the back made for a very comfortable ride and I can see how this plane had been used in the past for private transportation.
The 1000 horsepower engine was something to witness, burning 200L of Avgas and 6L of oil per hour, it could certainly power a small town!
