I am sorry for the delay in replying. Thank you for sending me the link below and for reporting the matter in the first place - your footage was most useful.

Following receipt of the video footage and interview of both the driver and Inspector present we have now concluded our investigation.

The standard of driving displayed was below the standards expected by Stagecoach Manchester and the incident has been treated as a "near miss".

Our local depot Management team have now taken the necessary disciplinary and retraining with the driver concerned. In addition both our driver and Inspector were being shown the footage.

With regard to your query about our Cycle Awareness course, we have rolled out the course to 80% of our 2,000 drivers within Manchester and should complete the training in the next 2 months.
