Marburg is a Covid like disease caused by a deadly virus related to Ebola. Guinea has confirmed the first Marburg case in West Africa. On August 2nd, the Marburg positive patient died due to the infection in southern Gueckedou prefecture. Post-mortem samples then tested negative for Ebola, but positive for Marburg.
