If you’ve been abroad and tried to watch your usual US TV shows online, you’ll know all too well that it ain’t gonna’ happen. HBO, Amazon Prime, Hulu, popular TV channels, the US Netflix library, and more are virtually impossible to watch abroad. Copyright issues make watching these channels a mission, but there are workarounds.

You can try torrenting, streaming sites or better yet, rather than streaming and compromising on quality or annoying lags, you can use a proxy or VPN provider. It can be tough deciding between the two but unlike a proxy, which will only hide your IP address, a VPN will secure your entire internet connection so you can watch any material you want online when abroad.
