We've been meaning to start to venture out a little more and capture some of the other classes on race days, upon a conversation with FullBOOST's Paul Broomy (who also runs the Broomy's Garage Channel) he made a cracking suggestion to hook up with Matt Esplan and get his FD RX7 on camera. Well that's exactly what we set out to do and we are kicking ourselves for not doing this sooner, better late than never though right!?
What an unreal car up close, the attention to detail inside and out is incredible - with the majority of the work carried out by Matt himself. The car has all the right bits in all the right places and the factory Mazda CX-7 Black Cherry Mica paint looks superb in the sun.
The RX7 was on a mission laying down PB's right up until it lunched second gear in fairly unassuming fashion, but the damage resulted in the weekend's racing coming to a close.
We are super keen to jump back onboard with Matt and the crew once the RX7 is ready to roll and grab some more footage, we definitely want to be there when he breaks into that 7 second zone for the first time!
