At least we have reached the end of our double kuksa carving, so far be have split, marked out, roughed out, hacked, hollowed, carved and saddened.
The final step in the process is to give it a good oil coating to protect them from liquids.
My preferred method here is to heat up the oils and apply liberally until it will no longer soak into the work.
A good buff once it has gone tacky and we are done.
