The president of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) remains optimistic about Kai Sotto's NBA prospects, despite his withdrawal from the G League. Al Panlilio, president of the SBP, believes Sotto will continue to work hard and develop, as he is the future of Philippine basketball. He also believes Sotto may play for Gilas in the FIBA Olympic qualifying tournament in Serbia.
