In this video I will compare the Shimano SLX and the Shimano Curado K 200. I will do a quick overall review and give my opinion on each of the reels before I compare them to each other. Please take note that neither of these reels are the DC versions. I have been a budget angler for most of my life, and I would only buy rod and reel combos from my local Academy Sports for around $100. Finally I wanted to upgrade my gear and get a test of the Shimano life! I have been using the SLX for about 8 months now, and the curado for around 3 months. The main focus of the video will be discussing whether or not the reels are worth their price compared to each other.
