Amid the ongoing spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, India is now preparing for vaccinating its most vulnerable population. Children between the age group of 15-18 will be administered the Covaxin doses in two phases and the third phase of vaccination has begun from today. Cowin chief R.S Sharma speaks to Mirror Now exclusively on the vaccination drive 3.0 and how it can help in bolstering India's fight against COVID.
Those born in 2005 and above can register for getting the jabs either via the Cowin app or can book an appointment by going on-site directly. Dr R S Sharma also highlights there is great enthusiasm among the teenagers who will be administered the jabs as they book through the Cowin platform.
