Hi. In this video we look at how the ILS signals are protected. An aircraft may use the ILS signals for landing on a runway. The ILS signals are transmitted from antennas on ground. If any fixed object or vehicles block these signals, it can have a direct impact on the aircraft using ILS information. So ILS Critical Area and ILS Sensitive area are enforced by the authorities. We also look at the factors that affect these areas.
