TSN is a set of an emerging standards by the IEEE created to add determinism and robustness to standard Ethernet. TSN adds a shared understanding and synchronization of time as well as mechanisms to let different traffic classes (e.g. best effort vs. scheduled) reliably and robustly share a single wire. TSN scales across transmission speed so it works with 100Mbit/s as well as it works with 1GBit/s.
