New Mexico's unemployment trust fund has been restored to its pre-pandemic level. That's largely due to federal relief money. State Workforce Solutions Department is speaking with a panel of legislators about the trust fund. Recent state data shows the number of residents getting unemployment payments is about 68,000. Down from 148,000 in June 2020.
