This new estimating tool works inside of PlusDesignBuild, a 2D, 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM plugin for Sketchup. The custom estimation tool enables you to associate and quantify linear, Cube, Square, and each item inside Sketchup. Find out how to associate information-rich products or materials with any geometry. The PlusDesignBuild Takeoff/BOQ tool enables you to associate and save prices, installation rates, ancillary items, and labour to your Sketchup model.
This tutorial shows how to use the tool and attribute information to any geometry, including IFC files created with any version of Sketchup Pro (including the free version) or Revit and ArchiCAD. In fact, any BIM software that exports IFC can be used for custom estimation using this tool.
