For his last year choreographing for UWFSA, Derek Ramos assists his dancers in the traditional performance, Sayaw Sa Bangko.
The More You Know:
Sayaw sa Bangko is a famous Filipino folk dance in which the dancers dating back to BEFORE the Spanish colonization of the Philippines, which means it is a PURELY Filipino Ancestral dance. Dancers showcase their skills as they dance atop a narrow bench, while constantly trading places.
