With pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice in the batter, these pumpkin madeleines make for the perfect fall treat to serve with coffee or tea! The exterior bakes to a beautiful golden brown with lightly crispy edges, while the center stays moist and pumpkin-y. These pumpkin madeleines are dainty French pastries, but they are quite a bit less finicky than macarons to master!
To decorate these, I dip a corner of each pumpkin spice madeleine into cinnamon sugar while warm. It's just enough to accent the pumpkin spice flavor inside the madeleine. And, as a bonus, it makes every madeleine sparkle a little in the light!
