At the start of 2024, I set a goal to read 24 books, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d pull it off. But here we are, at the finish line—and for the final stretch of the year, I managed to complete one last book!
Out of all the 24 books I read this year, I’m thrilled with how my reading journey turned out. Here are my top 5 favorite books of 2024 (in no particular order):
1. The Little Liar by Mitch Albom - this book is remarkable and hurts my heart big time.
2. Parts of a Song by Alexandra Del Rosario Romualdez - it captivates my heart and left it into pieces.
3. The Poppy War by RF Kuang - this book is epic, left my mind shattered and wanting for more.
4. Ang Bangin sa Ilalim ng Ating mga Paa by Ronaldo Vivo Jr. - my mind blown and haunts me everytime.
5. Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin - I love to hate the characters and it lingers through my mind.
