My advise for this season, grow lots of flowers. The temperature right now (Febraury-March) from Delhi to Kolkata to Bangalore to Mumbai is just perfect.
For beginners, I recommend Bougainvillea, Cactus crown and moss rose. Like wise for different seasons and different gardener levels I have recommendations for every one in this video.
