Dead Space 1 Walkthrough with the Line Gun only (Difficulty: Medium, New Game, Xbox360).

= Chapter 4-1: Obliteration Imminent =
Kendra accuses Hammond that he knew about the Marker, but he denies any knowledge of it. The ship has entered the asteroid field, and I must reroute the Asteroid Defence System's power as soon as possible. On my way to the Ship Systems, I learn that Dr Kyne killed the Captain while trying to detain him...

= Brute (Mini-Boss) Strategy =
In the Main Atrium, you encounter a new Necromorph, Brute, which is regarded as one of mini-bosses. His weakness is in the back but it's very hard to get behind him - and you want to avoid being chased around and keep wasting ammo. But if you're following my walkthrough, you should have a high level Line Gun by now, so the combat should be much easier!

Stasis him as he gets closer and set a mine at his feet, then walk away. He'll try to turn around and follow you - as he does so, he'll get hit by the mine in the back which is his weak spot! Pumping in a few more rounds should finish him off.
