Learn some tips and tricks when using NEMO valves in sleeping pads and pillows.

NEMO uses a 3 stage valve in our pads and pillows that allows you to inflate, pause while inflating, and lock the valve closed. To open the valve, twist the valve cap counterclockwise to the unlocked position and pull the valve out. In position 1, the valve is full extended so air can be added by blowing into the valve. If you need to take a break during inflation, push the valve down lightly to Position 2, the initial stop position. This will stop air flow until it is released. To lock the valve, push the valve cap all the way down. Twist the valve cap in the clockwise direction to lock the valve.
