When I stumbled upon this vintage teak table at a thrift store for $4.99, I didn’t plan to restore it, let alone create a video about it. But sometimes, life presents unexpected opportunities. Armed with a budget-friendly orbital sander, eco-friendly finish remover, and a few hours of patience, I set out to transform this damaged piece into something meaningful.

Teak is a durable hardwood often used in mid-century Scandinavian furniture. With its strong grain and timeless appeal, I knew this piece had potential. Along the way, I tackled stubborn stains, experimented with tools, and embraced imperfections that make each piece unique.

This year has been a rollercoaster, filled with incredible milestones—like reaching 100,000 subscribers—and personal challenges.
