James Lowdermilk is a past president of the Egyptian Study Society. He has a BA and MA in Applied Mathematics and tutors math to students of all ages. He has presented his research to the American Research Center in Egypt and the Mathematical Association of America. He has also published in the Ostracon, the Journal of the Egyptian Study Society.
