It's September 1993 and i'm in Liverpool. We see the ECS from the Inter-City Edinburgh-Liverpool service leave with ex Scotrail, ex Network SouthEast, 47 717 following it out plus a BR blue 31 on shunt release duties. Downstairs at Liverpool Low level we see BR liveried blue & grey ex Southern class 508 EMUs on Merseyrail services before we finish at Crewe with a couple of shots of class 304 slam door EMUs.
