More than a Monolith by Sophia Lin explores how people view Asian Americans as one large group of forever foreigners, creating harmful stereotypes and inciting violence among minority communities, before coming up with some solutions that we can apply in order to ease these ethnic tensions. Through examples and stories, she elucidates the problem with the Model Minority Myth, and highlights ways we can bring awareness to the issue and break stereotypes through involvement and service in broader communities.
