Wigan Casino 1975, recorded inside the allnighter
I think I may have remarked 75 the year. Wigan Casino. Was
less reliant on records from Torch, Twisted Wheel, and other
venue playlists. To concentrate on the Casino sound records the
Casino Dj's made popular, then Richard Searling does a majority
oldies set. Which was unusual for him. Although a year or 2 later
to be fair. Eventually Richards complete set became exclusively his.
Featuring records that gave his input very essential. He joined the
casino Dj's. After success at Bolton club Vava's. In Spanish Vava
means gogo. Making Vava's a go-go club, I have no idea how I know that
. For a teenager who's mind rarely visited his body or brain. So
hibernated in the clouds for the entire 70's decade. Yes a shock to me
how I remember as well. The recording is only a little over 30 minutes
lomg. so it repeats a few times after 32.16 minutes. One other interesting
fact Vava's had. Was the exceptionally good quality sound system that Vava's used. Not my opinion but said by friends who went. No last night an abrupt end people turned up to find Vava's closed. The best way to close in my opinion. I've never been to a last
night anywhere. Or is likely to in the future for certain. I will sort a
better example of 75 out soon. I sincerely hope somebody likes it?
